Camels killed under than Saharan moon

Recent news inspired this poem:

A caravan of camels,
One hundred and fifty creatures in size,
Set ablaze not by the sun,
But by bombs, dropped from airplanes in the sky.

A victory by NATO,
To stop the enemy from moving arms,
From one place to another.
They used camels to carry their cargo.

In a moment they perished,
And in a moment the world learned of it.
I wept for the dead camels,
Who died in their line of transport duty.
